Role Purpose

 The Mobile Media Buyer works in close alignment with the Media Buy team and external media agencies and in charge of all promotional activity designed for delivery to cell phones, smart phones and other handheld devices. The Mobile Media Buyer responsibility is campaigns for native, hybrid, wrapped and html5 applications. A key responsibility is ensuring that best practices are adhered to and that brand guidelines are maintained throughout.

The Mobile Media Buyer is responsible for creating campaign initiatives, implementing testing schedules, identifying key campaign insights in order to increase performance of the campaigns, ensuring an efficient Net Gaming Revenue (NGR) targets are met.


Key Responsibilities

  •  Accountable for the strategy setting for mobile campaigns as part of the mobile media channel as well as implementing department strategy set by Head Of Media Buying and Mobile Team Lead.
  • Responsible to create and develop mobile campaign initiatives around payday cycles and events which will be driven through the mobile display and social media mobile channels, with the view of acquiring high numbers of First Time Depositors (FTDs) at the lowest possible Cost Per-Acquisition (CPA)
  • Analysing the performance of mobile campaigns and identifying opportunities in order to hit and exceed targets set by the Head of Media Buying.
  • Coordinate activities with in-house performance marketing team and agencies to ensure maximum alignment between company’s mobile campaigns, internal activities and external entities.
  • Implement A/B testing on a range of mobile campaigns in order to ensure yielding the optimal NGR metrics from campaign’s budget spent.
  • Support the Performance Marketing department with regular competitors’ analysis (within industry and outside of it) in order to provide insights into industry’s benchmark and new possible initiatives the company can implement to maximise FTDs and NGRs.
  • Ensuring mobile campaign tracking is implemented correctly so advertising budget spent can be efficiently measured and reported back to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Produce reports of FTDs and NGRs in of the personal portfolio and present findings and recommendations from the analysis on a weekly/monthly basis to the Mobile Media Team Leader in order to improve performance of the mobile media buy channel.
  • Manage, test and optimise mobile media campaigns together with the Mobile Media Buy team and marketing agencies to increase company’s presence in mobile media advertising to attract more possible players.
  • Booking mobile advertising spots, pages, internet banners and broadcast adverts; producing reports and presenting findings and recommendations on a weekly and monthly basis in order to monitor individual’s progress towards FTDs and NGR targets.
  • Ensuring that the mobile adverts run accurately so that the desired media message is seen and heard by targeted audience.


Required Skills:

  • Understanding of mobile technologies and tools such as iOS, Android, Sensor Tower, App Annie, ITunes Connect and others
  • Previous experience in a digital marketing role
  • Excellent analytical skills and data savvy
  • Strong Excel and web analytical skills
  • Experience of managing large campaigns
  • A strategic thinker with excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable with processing and analysing extensive data sets
  • Ability to see trends and patterns in data and conduct changes to performance based on it

  • Proven analytical capability and deep understanding of BI or data analytics
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising legislation and codes of practice
